We are Bonnie and Averill, the dynamic duo behind Funded. Our journey began during our PhDs, where we explored the fascinating world of jumping spiders.
However, our passion for our topics couldn't overcome the challenges of securing research funding in academia.
Out of this realisation, Funded was born.
We are creating a one-stop platform that enables fund seekers to easily discover various funding opportunities, while bringing equity, clarity, and simplicity to a frustratingly complex process.
Funded aims to be the most reliable and comprehensive source of finding and deploying funding in New Zealand. Our platform is designed for efficiency to save time for both funders and applicants in matching opportunities, by eliminating unqualified matches.
We recognised a universal need for efficient funding solutions—matching those in need with those who have funding.
Funded encompasses multiple different funds across different sectors for example, philanthropic, business, scholarships, startup funds, volunteer groups, sports teams, and more.
